  • We have light!  The old 32V electrical components are removed, making lots of room in the electric locker, and 120V lights now brighten up the space.

  • Curtains: Curtains to help keep the heat in on cold days
  • After second weekend's work: Floor was primed and painted with a skid-resistant floor (to seal things up during move and next phase of renovations), seats were painted, electrical system was checked and 32V components removed, patches placed in a few areas of the floor...

  • New Bunks Installed: New Bunks which were found with the help of Amtrak Conductor Norm Murphy were installed Dec 29th.

  • Southend Conductors Desk: There are two Conductors Desks. One at each end.
  • Kitchen: Kitchen Table (original), chairs bought.
  • Missing Parts: Arm rest is missing. Start a mission to find a replacement
  • Fuel Tanks Removed: Craftsmen remove the old fuel oil tanks in the cupola area of the caboose to make way for storage closets.
  • Wood floor laid: First weekend in Concord, NH
